Jerry Springer speaks to SPJ about media and politics
Springer criticizes handling of Schiavo case

Jerry Springer, the former mayor, commentator and award-winning news anchor and current television talk show host and radio talk show host on liberal WCKY-AM, addressed Greater Cincinnati area journalists on March 24, 2005. More than 60 journalists and media-interested people joined SPJ for the midday talk at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse.

Enquirer reporter Maggie Downs wrote an article and a column related to the event and it was covered locally on WCPO-TV. A video of the event will be shown on local public access cable television. Dates and times will be announced here and in the Online OnPress e-mail newsletter (sign up here).
