WHAT:

The 2009 Annual Hall of Fame Collegiate Scholarships
 
WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

Cincinnati metropolitan area full-time college and university upper-class undergraduate students with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and pursuing a career in journalism are eligible.
 
WHY:

One of the missions of the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of SPJ is provide educational opportunities for both professional journalists and for students preparing for a career in journalism. We believe that the ideals and the future of our profession are protected and provided by those who follow.
 
WHEN:

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS APRIL 3, 2009. The winners will be notified by May 1, 2009, and the scholarship recipients will be recognized at the chapter awards banquet this fall.

HOW:

Online applications must include your career objectives (no more than 400 words), a letter of recommendation by a professor/advisor, and a digital portfolio of your journalism (articles, websites, images, podcasts, etc.).
