NKU will be offering two professional training workshops on Monday Oct 21-Tuesday Oct 22 from 9-530 pm. The cost is $300 per workshop.
 
Social Media Workshop: This two-day workshop will teach people with little or rudimentary knowledge about technology how to build their own multi-media website using simple, free programs online. By the end of the second day, participants will have a website that allows them to publish text, videos and photos, a wiki site that allows them to work collaboratively with other people (much like Wikipedia) and a social network that allows people with similar interests to gather in one place to talk, share images and photos and meet.
 
Introduction to Flash Workshop: This two-day workshop will teach people with little or rudimentary knowledge about technology how to build their own website using Adobe Flash. In this workshop, you will use Flash to create the basic components for a personal Web site, such as rollover buttons, links, and basic page layout. You will also learn to add actions to a Web site using intuitive Flash action scripting. Participants will also develop a working knowledge of the web applications used in Photoshop.
