Nominations being accepted  for Cincinnati Journalism Hall of Fame
2005 nomination process open through September 15

The Society of Professional Journalists — Cincinnati Professional Chapter created a Cincinnati Journalism Hall of Fame in 1990 to recognize the achievements of past and present newspaper, television, radio, Web and independent journalists and journalism educators. To be considered, the journalist must have made significant contributions to the quality of journalism in the Greater Cincinnati region. Nominations are accepted from current, former or retired news professionals. Inductees are selected by the current board from the nominations received. Inductees are recognized at the annual Awards of Excellence banquet, permanently on the chapter’s Web site, as well as on a commemorative plaque. Past inductees are at www.cincyspj.org/hall.htm. For more information, e-mail halloffame@cincyspj.org.
