Aiesha D. Little, a Queen City Pro Chapter board member, was recently named one of SPJ's Diversity Leadership fellows. Little, one of five journalists of color to receive the grant this year, attended the annual convention in D.C. and will spend a year on one of the organization's national committees. During the convention, the fellows met with SPJ President-elect Clint Brewer, who lists diversity as one of his top priorities. "As journalists, it's our jobs to be as inclusive as possible," Little says. "This type of grant is a great way to start."
