The Greater Cincinnati Society of Professional Journalists is looking for candidates to lead this chapter into the future. Please contact president Hagit Limor at hlimor@wcpo.com if you're interested in running for any of the following positions:

   president - overall responsibility for all chapter affairs; has served as membership chair but may appoint another
   vice president - oversees committee chairs; fills in for president in his/her absence
   secretary - takes minutes, sends emails on listservs, writes monthly e-newsletter
   treasurer - manages bank accounts, writes checks, keeps ledger current
   Banquet Committee chair - responsible for all aspects of annual awards banquet
   Contest Committee chair - runs our local contest and is in charge of judging other chapter's contest
   Freedom of Information Committee chair - keeps abreast of current issues affecting journalism; proposes actions for chapter to take; responsible for one annual FOIA program
   Publicity chair - informs as many journalists as possible of our programs

   The chapter will put forth its slate in March, giving candidates a month to campaign before elections in late April. The newly elected officers will transition over the next month with installation to take place in June.
